Plants that are poisonous for pets????
Anyone who owns a dog or cat knows that it’s inevitable that there will be times they dig, scratch, play with, chew on, or eat something that grows in your yard. Even though this is a natural behavior, it’s still important to keep an eye on what your pet is exposed to when out and about in order to protect them from plants that are poisonous for pets; and perhaps hazardous to their health.

So we put together this list of the top 25 most common backyard plants that are poisonous for pets.
Before you rip out all your favorite flowers, though, the first and best thing you can do to protect your dog or cat is to keep an eye on them when outside and see if it’s possible to keep them separated from any plants or flowers that could do harm. Sometimes a cleverly-placed fountain, fence or decorative rock wall might be all it takes.
If Fido or Fluffy are determined to chow down on your flowers, however, and you feel the need to remove them, be sure to dispose of them where they can’t get to them. Just throwing things in your compost pile could make it even more interesting to your pets, so be sure your green waste is covered or inaccessible.
